The difference between these two unites is that customary is only used in the united states and metric is used all over the world. I wonder why?
An example is that 1 pint=2 cups.

thats would be 12 pints in 6 cups because if you multiply 1 times 2 cups it equal 2 so 6 times 2 equal 12
